Metro is making bus service better for the residents of Lackawanna and Hamburg with changes to routes 16 South Park, 42 Lackawanna, and the elimination of 36 Hamburg.

After getting together with riders in the community, asking questions, and discussing answers, Metro has come up with bus service that has big improvements: New evening and weekend service to The Shops and Southgate Plaza, increased bus frequency and streamlined service - two routes now do the work of three.

Metro's solution means no loss in area covered. By pruning away duplicate service, Metro is able to improve quality and accessibility without cutting back on destinations. It is a direct result of community participation and a model for the way Metro has worked, and will continue to work, across the region.
