Metro staff is continuing tours of Metro’s DL&W rail facility for select groups. Developers, the American Planning Association and others have been through the building recently. While each group has learned something from their experience, Metro has received an enormously valuable education.

It has become very clear that the DL&W building is one of the most exciting development projects in the region. At 101-years-old, the facility has the charm and presence to make any project a success. With 150,000 square feet of interior space and 80,000 of exterior space, the facility can accommodate any, and all, ideas to date. Now it is about harnessing the region’s collective imagination.
