August Metro Bus and Rail passes are focused on fighting blindness. Suggested by longtime bus operator Tim Brown, Metro is happy to lend support. The Foundation Fighting Blindness is devoted to the prevention of the leading causes of blindness in the US, and research into cures. Blindness affects more than 10 million Americans, including many transit riders. The issues could certainly use more visibility.
