K9 Eci received a new bullet and stab protective vest thanks to a charitable donation from Vested Interest, a non-profit devoted to protecting the K9s who protect us.

This K9 vest is sponsored specifically by Kevin and Christine Harbison of Satya Yoga should help protect Eci for her career. The non-profit Vested Interest was established in 2009 to assist law enforcement agencies with this potentially lifesaving body armor for their four-legged officers. To date it has provided more than 3,300 protective vests covering all 50 states.

Eci’s partner, Transit Police Officer Dina Bigham, is thrilled by the potentially life-saving gift. K9s are frequently the very first of our first responders.
