Metro Bus and Rail Help Get People Vaccinated

NFTA-Metro donated 1,000 Day Passes to the City of Buffalo to help assist people traveling to a new vaccination site. Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced a pop-up clinic at Greater Buffalo United Accountable Healthcare Network site on Main Street in Buffalo, replete with 1,000 spots, and open to everyone over sixteen years of age. Metro stepped up with a matching number of transit passes because, as Director of Public Transit Tom George said, “We don’t want transportation to be a barrier to vaccination.”
