Faster Screening at the Niagara Falls Airport
The Transportation Security Administration checkpoint at Niagara Falls International Airport has new technology that validates identification and confirms a flier’s flight information almost instantaneously. The Credential Authentication Technology – or CAT – can quickly sniff out a fraudulent driver’s license, passport or other identification. It can also check a passenger’s flight status, eliminating the need to pass boarding passes or phones back and forth. The reduced contact adds another level of safety, in this case from germs.
