Metro Bus and Rail is participating in a nation-wide performance bench-marking survey. It helps guide the Authority in decisions that directly benefit the community, and helps transit agencies across the country gauge how the industry is doing in general.

And it really does matter. Past surveys have led to solid improvements in the bus and rail system. Based on previous results, Metro has -

• Started a bus shelter expansion program that has already begun putting up new shelters. It aims for 150 in the next five years 
• Created a task force to improve on-time performance 
• Added your voice to grant applications to get needed funds into this community 
• Increased cleaning on buses and trains 

The survey runs from Monday, March 28 through Sunday, May 1.
