For the second year in a row, NFTA-Metro has put out a call for area artists to create an artwork celebrating Black Excellence. The winner will be displayed on the side of a Metro bus. The theme is “Black Inventors”, and artists are encouraged to be creative and inspiring. Images should be eye-catching, engaging, colorful and reflective of “Black Inventors” and Black History Month.

The program is run in collaboration with the WNY Urban Arts Collective, who will help collect and judge entries. Details for submissions are at nfta.com.
