A press conference was held on January 19 to announce NFTA-Metro’s brand-new “Ride Nice” campaign. Ride Nice is a proactive initiative aimed at creating a safer environment on the buses and rails. Along with an increased transit police presence, NFTA-Metro passengers will be informed of the Authority’s code of conduct through posters and signage. The NFTA and Transit Police will coordinate with Senator Tim Kennedy, Buffalo Peacemakers, and the Board of Buffalo Education to put forward a positive message and create a comfortable environment for all passengers.
