Metro Bus and Rail was a proud participant in the 16th annual Puerto Rican and Hispanic Day Parade and Festival. Sponsored by the Hispanic Heritage Counsel this past August, Metro employees from all over the organization volunteered to march with Metro buses and staff the Metro tent.

Metro provided two floats in this year's parade: a 40-foot Metro bus and a new low-floor Paratransit van. Accompanied by a group of 25 that included drivers, mechanics, office staff and more, Metro earned third place in the float competition.

Next year, we’re going for first.
