The NFTA Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month

Each year, Americans observe National Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 to October 15, by celebrating the histories, cultures, and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Hispanic Heritage festival in Buffalo – and the NFTA’s (give or take a year) participation. A new bus honors our region’s roots not just this month, but for the whole year.
