Metro Bus and Rail has joined a national survey designed to help transit better meet the needs of the traveling public. Past surveys have led to several improvements in the NFTA’s bus and rail system. Based on previous results, Metro has – 

- Started a bus shelter expansion program that has already installed 30 new shelters, with 30 more planned per year, for the next four years - Created a task force to improve on-time performance 

- Added public comments to grant applications to draw more funds to this area 

- Increased cleaning on buses and trains 

The survey runs through Sunday, April 30.
